Bass Guitar project with local highschool student.....

I recently had the pleasure of building a bass with a local highschool student for his senior project.  We had a great time and built a phenominal instrument in the process.  He worked hard and learned a lot about lutherie, and I enjoyed extra hands in the shop! 

Specs: Curly maple and walnut neck.  Camphur burl body wings.  EMG pickups with custom Bartolini active electronics.

Extreme figure cocobolo back and sides, AAAA quilted sitka spruce top. Curly maple neck and binding.  Ebony peg head, fingerboard, and bridge.
